Article Management
Articles are stored in the database, Only 3 articles are used at a time for the newsletter.
To manage articles has two options

Adding Articles
Whether you are adding or editing an article you can select its current status which are
- Latest News
- Benefit
- Featured
- Archived
Archived items are not used in the email |

Adding Subscription
Adding subscriptions is as easy as baking a pie, we have three error checks they are
- Already Subscribes
- Listing has an email address
- Listing Exists
If date field is left blank todays date will be automatically used.

Manage Subscriptions
Basic control, we have edit, preview and delete from the subscription list.
Preview will open a new browser tab which will show the email without it been sent. This is extremly helpful if editing language, look and feel. |

The Articles in Preview Mode
The Email uses 3 articles at a time (click on image to expand) . The three sections are in this case are
- Latest News
- Benefit of having Banners (Benefits section)
- The Leads Generator (Featured section)
In the database latest news is sorted by date descending and the other two are selected randomly per block sent.

Sending Newsletter
In general, emails are sent by visitor's clicks on public and members pages only, with a quick sql check of the subsrciption list, if a result is returned only then the email is processed and sent.
Emails are sent in blocks of 10 which would happen in the blink of an eye. However you could adjust the limit with a simple edit to the main php file.
Still just in case you have more due emails than visitors, I have provided the means of sending them out manually. (Click image to enlarge) |
Members No Email
No Email? Members are ask to place an email address first before they can subscribe to the Statistics Newsletter |

Listing has email
Now this member can subscribe to this email. Subscibing will place this listing's ID in the subsciption list with the current time and date, they' re only a click away from sending them selves their first. |
Un- Subscribed
Its easy to Un -subscribe |

Look and Feel
This mod has its own template file and editing can be done with a text editor. this image is a peak at the tpl file
